I've created a new portfolio book featuring the photographs from my "Cheetahs" portfolio.

This book is a collection of my Cheetahs in Black and White portfolio. Most of the cheetahs in the photographs are orphans raised by the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia. Their mothers were killed mostly by farmers or ranchers - who feared that they might kill livestock. Although cheetah rarely kill livestock, this is still a fear held by many, and orphaned cheetahs such as these are the result.

While photographing these graceful and amazingly beautiful animals, I focused on their grace, elegance and vulnerability. Cheetahs are an endangered species and the loss of any wild, breeding cheetah is a step backwards in the goal of conserving this beautiful species. I hope the viewer will see the cheetah's beauty through these photographs; understand how vulnerable they are; and know the tragedy it would be if this amazing creature was lost through extinction.
